We are proud to be a part of the Strines community, but we appreciate we are not the usual local pub! Please do not hesitate to conact us with any issues, we do not wish to cause any disturbances.
Our larger events take place on weekends during the Spring/Summer season every year, usually from Easter Weekend - Mid September, with special events planned around Halloween weekend and the two week Xmas and NewYears period.
We are a member of the Music Venues Trust and the only official grassroots music venue in the Stockport area. https://www.musicvenuetrust.com/. The majority of our music is acoustic led and indoors in the soundproofed main room.
Residents and local authorities will be informed of any outdoor music or events well in advance with a procedure of whom to contact with any issues. The last thing we would ever wish, is to be a nuisance to anyone in the village or surrounding areas!
We do hosts occasional weddings and large parties but always on Saturdays.
We have regular gardening clubs and Strines Socials events to meet your neighbours!
Have questions or feedback? We would love to hear from you! Contact us via email, or social media and a member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
Basically, as it stands currentl y( and we are working on this with the arts council for next year….)
We dont have disabled toilets.
The outdoor areas are not mobility or wheelchair friendly at all as it stands.
Indoor gigs are usually fine for wheelchairs but the toilet cubicles are quite narrow.
We are really sorry for this, its a 250 year old pub going through a big transformation. Its very much on our agenda to fix this!
